Recently I had the opportunity to "observe" teachers in action at the Briarmeadow Charter School, Houston. Getting "observation hours" done was a part ACT teaching license program. Observing another teacher is an excellent way to learn and spread best practices. It also allows to make an informed decision about career field.

University of Houston held it's Graduate Orientation on 18th Aug. For me, this is the second Grad school after a long gap of 16 years, in a different country and in a different field. This was indeed an exciting moment for me!
The last month has been quite intense ( academically and happenings in Houston). So what did I learn in the last 4 weeks?
It is just a month that I started my classes at the UoH and it has been quite eventful indeed.
The week started with a stellar event, a solar eclipse. Although Houston did not witness total solar eclipse, but everyone was excited! |
