Last Friday I went to T H Rogers to further continue my “observation”. Initially the plan was I will participate in one of the middle school science classes, but as fate would have it, it turned out that particular class had gone out to a field trip! The secretary asked me if I would like to observe in middle school art class instead and I thought why not! I am so glad that I stepped in that art class. It was a morning filled up with fun , excitement and some introspection
Recently I had the opportunity to "observe" teachers in action at the Briarmeadow Charter School, Houston. Getting "observation hours" done was a part ACT teaching license program. Observing another teacher is an excellent way to learn and spread best practices. It also allows to make an informed decision about career field.
